Message wings has always been the materials. This is why the original wing is so sought after and the best.

The rubber would conform to complex lines of the hatch. I love the looks of some of fiberglass versions out there but the fit is to be desired, even when done by professionals. I would steer clear of fiberglass and go urethane. At least with urethane there is a bit more play. Fill in the body of the wing with foam. Recast the mold and then it's as simple as just applying double sided adhesive and you are good to go.

Just saying. That's my experience from all the years of attaching and altering wings on Z's.

Very nice job though guys. Looks very well done.
